Kathleen Speranza. Her paintings have an extraordinary quality to them, I love the softness. Kathleen’s paintings are so unique – the colors, the softness, the subject matter – they add quite the touch to a room once hung. If you look closely there are many colors, each placed with purpose – leaving the painting with a gracefulness.
Kathleen is one busy woman. Not only does she paint every day, but she also teaches art at Rhode Island School of Design. Kathleen also teaches workshops – and let me tell you, these are workshops you want to take if you’re interested in taking your paintings to the next level.

There is also a great podcast that I ran across from the Savvy Painter – so if you would like to learn more about Kathleen and her paintings, be sure to listen – it’s fabulous!
I don’t normally include a framed image, but this frame is handmade and it’s a beauty! It compliments this painting perfectly…
