Terry Pesso. Her paintings are exploding with happiness. The colors, the subjects, everything about them brings a smile to my face.
I love the quirkiness in Terry’s paintings. It makes them feel alive. Some paintings it’s nice to have everything look exactly like the subject, but sometimes it’s more interesting to divert and make things a bit different. Happiness, life and stunning color is what I see when I look at Terry’s paintings!
The teal background color that Terry used is fabulous, isn’t it? Even though brighter it’s still a very soothing color. A “feel good” color. The plants look happy and the orange against the teal is STUNNING. Isn’t that what you want in a painting? Something to make you smile as you walk by it…

BIO
❝Terry Pesso has been painting for over thirty years. She first started painting when she was raising her three children and looking for an outlet for her creativity. She started in watercolors and then eventually studied oils and pastels as well. She is in favor of a decorative interpretation of reality. She creates endless varieties of color and texture to represent the essential “spirit” of the subject. With her unique artistic style she captures the lush, tropical landscapes and interiors surrounding her. Color and abstract qualities are distinctive features in all her paintings. She has exhibited in many group shows and won numerous awards. She now works in her home studio in Delray Beach.❞
Until next time…
