Weimaraner Puppies Red and Blue by Jennifer Gennari 12×18″ Oil – SOLD!

Jennifer Gennari is an incredible artist. Some people can just reach in and capture emotions (both animal and human) with paint. It’s amazing to me how much life there is to her paintings. LOOK AT THESE EYES. Much of her work is sold, but there are a few paintings still available (as I write this) – so be sure to check them out, you will be floored!

Her figures are just as fabulous as her animals. There is one in particular that is so classy, and the degree of difficulty (to me) seems immense. It’s called Study in Black and it’s an impressive 52×40″ – don’t miss it!

BIO

Jennifer Gennari is a classically trained figurative artist. She graduated in 2005 from Ringling College of Art and Design and in 2008 left for Italy to study at the Florence Academy of Art where she spent three years abroad studying classical realism under Daniel Graves.

Jennifer returned to New York in 2011 and started working as a painting assistant to Jeff Koons. She eventually left to pursue teaching at the National Academy Museum and School, the Long Island Academy of Fine Art, and presently instructs students privately from her studio in Manhattans Upper East Side.

Jennifer has been painting animals since 2014 and is driven by a deeply rooted passion to elevate and legitimize the life we have with them. Her work is the definition of Labor of Love. Jennifer has written a book on drawing the human figure, and has also hosted an online class through Craftsy that instructs beginners on the techniques used in creating traditional portraits.

Jennifer’s work has been shown internationally and has received multiple awards and honors.
