Christopher Long. I featured Christopher just last year – every time I scroll through Instagram looking for new artists I come across one of his paintings and WHOA! This guy is not afraid of color. He uses it perfectly. His paintings are dramatic and fabulous! He sells his work (for a VERY fair price on Daily Paint Works) – By the time I post this the painting may be sold, if so, be sure to check out the others. They go quickly. But the good news is that Christopher paints often!
His bio shows that if it’s really in you to want to do something, if you try hard enough it’ll become a reality! #inspiration

BIO
Born 1978 in CT, Long earned a degree in sculpture from the Lyme Academy of Fine Art in 2000. After exhibiting his figurative sculpture nationally, teaching, and operating a bronze foundry, he took to the road in an RV with his family in 2008. Along their travels, he had the impulse to teach himself landscape and still life painting, and ended up selling his work in New Orleans at the French Market and on Frenchmen Street. Between his journeys around the country, Long spent seven years participating in art shows and cultural events in the Big Easy.
He currently is traveling and painting on the West Coast.
Catch you back here tomorrow!
